Memorial Cruise planned for 3 students killed in crash

Mr. Brian Coppola, students and friends in the community, invite you to join with them on Thursday evening, May 28, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., as they reveal the trucks that they have completed in honor of Emmett “Goob” Darnell, Kade Nelson and Mason Gann.

Please join with the families of these young men. In keeping with social distancing guidelines, we ask that you gather on the east side of Reay Lane across from Valley Auto Wrecking at 5:45 p.m. A memorial drive-by will begin, at 6:00 p.m., proceeding northbound on Reay Lane to Ball Park Drive then eastbound to the Herb Winsor Ballpark parking lot where the trucks and the families of Goob, Kade and Mason will be awaiting us as we come to pay our respects to them and to see the works of everyone involved in this work of the heart. Come gather in remembrance of these young men and united as #GilaValleyStrong.

Event organizers expressed gratitude, in advance, to the members of the Thatcher Police Department for their assistance in traffic control and assurance of safety for all those who plan to attend.
