Mattress Shoplifted From Walmart

At about 11:02 am on July 25, 2015, local officer was dispatched to Walmart in reference to a previous shoplifting incident. Upon arrival, the officer contacted Shelby Frazier in the Asset Protection Office and she told the officer that a male subject stole a mattress at about 9:30 am. She described the male subject as Hispanic with an “AZ” tattoo on the left side of his neck.

Frazier said the male subject paid for several small items in the basket at the self chick out and did not pay for the mattress. She said that he told the employee the mattress was a return and walked out of the store without paying for it. She provided the officer with surveillance photographs of the subject and a sales receipt for the mattress of $109.07.

Frazier was unable to identify the subject and the officer checked the database for subject with an “AZ” tattoo on their neck. The suspect was unable to be identified.

The subject left in a compact maroon four door sedan with chrome rims. A license plate was available. A victims right form was issued. Case is pending suspect identification.
