Mark James Farris

Mark James Farris, age 40 and a resident of Thatcher, entered into eternal life Tuesday morning, April 21, 2020, at his residence. 

Mark was born on January 25, 1980, in Montpelier, Idaho. He was the youngest of four children born to William and Carol Farris. Mark attended Thatcher Schools, graduating from Thatcher High School in 1998, where he excelled in football and was selected to 1998 All-Star Football Team. He went on to become a Radiology Tech, working at various hospitals in Arizona. Mark was extremely smart, with a wicked sense of humor. He loved to make everyone around him laugh. 

Mark was blessed to be father to Jace, Ella, and Nash. Mark loved his children with all his heart and was tremendously proud of their many accomplishments. 

Mark is survived by: his children, Jace, Ella and Nash Farris; his parents, William and Carol Farris; his siblings, Christi Allred (Chris), Billy Farris (Nicole) and Charlie Farris; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Lilly. 

Private family graveside services for Mark were conducted Tuesday morning, April 28, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at the Thatcher Cemetery. Those who would like to attend the services via Facebook Live can join on Vining Funeral Home’s Facebook page at 11:00 a.m.
