Mariana Sanchez, age 36 and a resident of Safford, entered into eternal rest early Sunday morning, September 13, 2020, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mariana or La Diabla (the Devil) was born April 7, 1984, to Seferino Sanchez, Jr. and Anna Marie Maldonado. She grew up in Solomon, making many found memories with her siblings and extended family. At the age of eighteen Mariana was blessed with the birth of her first daughter, Anaya soon followed by Analysa, Adriana, Aliciana, Tommy, Jr. and Aylssa. Each of them had a special place in her heart. Mariana was kind and nurturing to her children and grandchildren. She was very kind and giving to family and friends. Mariana will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Mariana is preceded into death by: her grandmother, Rosa Sanchez; grandfather, Seferino Sanchez; nana, Amelia Maldonado; mother, Marie Maldonado; a cousin, Gilbert Villescas; and her granddaughter, Analiah Sanchez.
A Celebration of Mariana’s Life was conducted Tuesday evening, September 22, 2020, at 5:00 p.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley”.
