Man with four outstanding warrants booked in jail

SAFFORD – Saturday morning, around 7:30 am, authorities were dispatched to a residence for a reported domestic situation. When an officer arrived and spoke with the father, he reported his son was delusional and having problems.

While speaking to the son, the officer discovered that he had four local outstanding misdemeanor warrants for his arrest involving trespassing; disorderly conduct; shoplifting; assault, and disorderly domestic violence.

As the man was taken into custody for the warrants, he requested to be checked out by medical staff for dehydration issues. Lifeline arrived and treated him and cleared him to be booked into the jail.

Before authorities left the residence, family members said that the man had been saying that his life could be in danger while being in jail. The man was transported to the Graham County Jail and booked for the warrants. The officer alerted jail staff of the possible threat. A history request that the man be separated from another inmate was also documented.
