SAFFORD — A Safford man is in custody after allegedly exposing himself while using ride sharing.
The driver of the ride-sharing service contacted Safford Police and told them the man, identified as Jerry Roesberry, had reached through a hole in his sweat pants, withdrew his genitalia and began fondling himself during the ride to a local restaurant.
She said another driver has related a similar story about Roesberry during a different ride earlier in the day.
Officers went to the restaurant and made contact with Roesberry, who denied the allegations. However, a records check found Roesberry had multiple arrests for indecent exposure.
He was taken into custody without incident and booked into Graham County Jail on charges of indecent exposure.
