Madison Jarvis heading to Gila Idol Finals

THATCHER — The line-up is now set.

The public decided who will be the last finalist selected for 2026 Gila Idol, and they selected Madison Jarvis.

Jarvis was picked to be an alternate at the preliminary at The Venue on Main on Feb. 5, where she sang “Talking to the Moon.” Now she has to select a new song, as well as a backing track.

“I have a few ideas, but I haven’t decided yet,” she said on the Reed Richins Morning Show on Kat Kountry on Friday, when it was announced Jarvis was the last finalist.

The Gila Idol Finals will take place Thursday, March 26, at the David M. Player Center for the Arts. A total of 20 singers will perform for the chance to walk away with the top prize of $2,000.

In addition to the finalists, musical performances will be offered by previous Gila Idol winners, including Timothy Fox (2025), Pete McCormick (2018), Olivia Jeffs (2014), Jessica Curtis (2013), Theresa Campbell (2009) and Adam Crohn (2008).
