THATCHER — The Safford Lions Club announced produce distribution will take place this weekend.

Borderlands Produce Rescue teams with the Lions Club to conduct the Produce on Wheels Without Waste program, which allows residents to obtain up to 70 pounds of fresh produce for a donation of $12 cash the day of the event.

Residents can also pre-order online for $13 at borderlandsproducerescue.org/drive_up_and_take_away.

The drive-through distribution will take place Saturday, Feb. 6, in the parking lot of the Thatcher Home Depot, from 8-11 a.m. or while supplies last.
