A Thatcher Officer attempted to stop a vehicle for criminal speed today on Hwy 70 in Thatcher. The vehicle refused to stop and continued to speed eastbound through Safford. The Officer initiated a pursuit of the vehicle with a fictitious plate and possibly stolen. Thatcher Officers were joined by Safford Police and Graham County Deputies. Greenlee County and DPS were notified of the vehicle and speeds. Officers terminated the pursuit while in Greenlee County. The vehicle continued to travel East on Hwy 70 through Duncan and into New Mexico.
