Larry Dale Murry was born September 10, 1936, in Safford. At the age of 80, Larry entered into eternal life early Sunday morning, March 5, 2017, at home, comfortably surrounded by his wife, children and granddaughter.
Larry graduated from Safford High School with the class of 1956. He was a loving, gentle, honest and compassionate man. He was loved by many.
Larry married the love of his life, Sonja “Freddie” Kay Friederichsen on September 3, 1957. The love the two of them shared was true, deep and envied by many. Together they have 4
children, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren with one more on the way, and 3 great-great
grandchildren.
Funeral services for Larry will be conducted Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at the Mt. Graham LDS Chapel by Bishop Mike Fox of the Safford Seventh Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Thatcher Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday evening, March 10, 2017, from 5:00 p.m., until 7:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Saturday afternoon, March 11, 2017, from 1:00 p.m., until 1:45 p.m., in the Mt. Graham LDS Chapel Relief Society Room. Arrangements are entrusted to Vining Funeral Home.
