SUPERIOR — Arizona Department of Transportation announced lane restrictions will take place on U.S. Highway 60, between Miami and Superior, next week.
Highway 60 will be reduced to one lane, with alternating east- and westbound travel, between mileposts
227-229, Tuesday, Aug. 26, through Thursday, Aug. 28, from 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Highway 60 will also be reduced to one lane, with alternating east- and westbound travel, between mileposts 240-243, Monday, Aug. 25, through Thursday, Aug. 28, from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day; and Friday, Aug. 29, from 5:30 a.m. to noon.
Flagging operations and pilot cars will be in effect, and speed will be reduced to 25 miles an hour in the work zones.
Drivers should allow extra travel time and use caution through the work zones.
There are no restrictions planned for Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.
