SAFFORD — There will be more services offered at this year’s Veterans and Families Resource Fair.
The event, put on by Gila Valley Veterans Services, will take place Friday, Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Graham County Fairgrounds.
In addition to being able to speak one-on-one with representatives from the Veterans Administration about benefits, homeless veterans will be able to learn about housing opportunities, get updates on health and education benefits and get help with legal issues.
There will also be veterinarians available to help with veterans’ pets, specialists to help with substance and behavioral health issues, and even free haircuts and free lunch.
All services are offered free to veterans and their families.
