PIMA — A new holiday tradition gets underway this weekend.
Lamb and Vine Farms will open its inaugural pumpkin patch and maze Friday, and remain open to the public every weekend through October.
“Anybody in agriculture has looked at agritourism as an aspect to include, and we wanted to do it differently,” Sarah Lamb said. “We wanted it to be less about us and our farm, and more about the community.”
The weekend event will feature vendors with hand-made items and food trucks, along with storytime with local authors. There will also be more than 30 photo setups, to allow for everyone to get a specific photo — from families taking holiday photos and costume pictures, to expectant parents and engagement photos.
There will also be raffles, with proceeds helping local nonprofit organizations, including Families Fighting Cancer Together, Graham County Substance Abuse Coalition, and Teachers Use Ag to Give Back.
The Lamb and Vine Pumpkin Patch and Maze will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each Friday and Saturday in October. The farm is located on Lizard Bump Road, north of Bryce Eden Road, northwest of Pima.
