Kenneth Lee. Phelps, 75, of Safford, passed away October 18, 2016 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born January 19, 1941 in Sundown, Texas to Brigham & Hazel Phelps.
He was a long haul trucker by trade who enjoyed life, cars, fishing and the Dallas Cowboys.
He is survived by his loving wife, Gale and children; James (Kristy) Phelps, Paul Phelps, April Hodges, Thomas (Perri) Howlett and Michael (Patty) Howlett, siblings; Brigham, “Brigg” Phelps, Jr. and Jim Phelps, 15 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; Brigham & Hazel Phelps, Sr. and brother Billy Joe Phelps.
Contributions can be made in behalf of Kenneth to the Mt. Graham Hospice.
A memorial service for Kenneth was held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Solomon Chapel.
