Jennifer L. Torrio, resident of Safford, Arizona was born May 21, 1971, in Whittier, California, to Marie Tipton. After a twenty-month long battle with cancer, she passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones at the young age of 52 on the morning of January 26, 2024.
Many people will remember Jennifer from working at the old Mobil gas station for many years. She always had a smile on her face and was willing to carry on a conversation with everyone. After many years of working at the station, Jennifer began working for Freeport McMoran where she met many friends that became family. Jennifer had many blessings in her life but the ones she was most proud of were her two sons, Colton and Jayson Caillouette, whom she would do anything for. In December of 2013 she married the love of her life, Ernest Torrio Jr. Over the next ten years of their marriage their love for each other grew stronger and many memories were cherished.
Jennifer is survived by: her husband, Ernest Torrio Jr; her children, Colton (Kayla) Caillouette, Jayson (Haley) Caillouette, Christina Torrio, Ernest Lee Torrio; her ten grandchildren, Braelynn, Grayson, Easton, Caven, Isaiah, Mya, Jeremiah, Noah, Jonah, and Maliya; and her siblings, Chris Haynes, Carrie (Larry) Coslin, Brandy (Arthur) Ridenhour, Raymond (Jasmine) Haynes, Robert Haynes, and Wendy Haynes.
She is preceded in death by: her mother, Marie Tipton; her sister, Alisha Haynes; her aunt, Darlene Castaneda
Private family services for Jennifer will be conducted at a later date.
