Forrest K. Ekblad was born in Denver, Colorado, on March 25, 1944. He attended Arvada High School, graduating in 1962. Forrest went on to college and received his degree after 4 years. He had 4 children. While attending college he was on ski patrol and had a blast during that time.
Sometime in the 1980’s he moved to Fort Thomas, Arizona, where he built his homestead surrounded by a pecan orchard. He enjoyed farming pecans, gemstone mining, spending hours at the Eden Hotsprings, and NASCAR. He also had a unique interest in collecting driftwood, cleaning it up and painting them.
Forrest passed after a long battle with cancer with his family by his side on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. He was 79.
Private services for Forrest will be conducted.
