Jennifer Catharan Johnson (June 20, 1973 – March 13, 2023). She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, aunt, Nana, and friend.
Jen was loved by everyone who encountered her. She lived her life like a roller coaster. She was independent and didn’t like asking for help. Jen was intelligent, fun, loving, caring, spunky, outspoken, didn’t expect anything less than great.
She loved her children and grandchildren with every fiber of her being. Celebrating with pure pride for every achievement they received. She was a devoted wife to her husband and a devoted daughter to her parents; all whom she loved so much.
Jen had a great passion for books, music and starting projects she would never finish. She had a bleeding heart for all the strays and outcasts. Always trying to help. Jennifer was a fighter and fought to the bitter end.
She is survived by: her parents, Stuart and Geneva Gregory; her husband, Steven Johnson; her children, Victoria (Scott) Johnson, Tristen Hernandez, Ashleigh Hernandez, Vincent Wright; her grandchildren, Veronica and William Johnson.
A Celebration of Jen’s Life will be conducted Friday, March 31, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Duncan by Pastor Brad Boyd. Jen will be laid to rest at a later date in the Santa Barbara Cemetery in Montecito, CA.
