Janet Elizabeth Aitken Taggart, of Thatcher, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at her home in Thatcher. She was born August 11, 1938, in Kelowna, British Columbia Canada to George Aitken and Winifred Hambrook.
She is survived by: her children, Wallace Neil (Caran), of Phoenix, Ian (Maxine), of Thatcher, Jennifer (Robin), of Thatcher, Stephen (Lydia), of Kaysville, Utah; sixteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Neil Aitken (Ruth), of Canada and Peigi Sakota (Jay) Sakota, of Fryeburg, Maine; and her sister-in-law, Christine Aitken. Janet was predeceased by: her mother, Winifred Hambrook Aitken; her father, George Aitken; and her brother, Kenneth Aitken.
Graveside services for Janet will be conducted Friday morning, May 5, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., at the Thatcher Cemetery by Bishop Rhett Dodge of the Thatcher First Ward.
