James J. Stergion, of Solomon, entered into rest Saturday, January 29, 2021, at his residence with his family surrounding him in love. He was 57.
James Jeffrey Stergion, also known as Jim Bob, lived a life full of adventures and love. He attended high school in Duncan, Arizona. After high school, James went to work as an underground miner for several mines around Arizona. After retiring, James reunited with his high school sweetheart, Alicia.
James enjoyed having family time, fishing and going on adventures and exploring.
James is survived by: his wife, Alicia Stergion; his two sons, Devin and Dakota Stergion; his stepchildren, David A. Montoya, Rueben Montoya and Ashley Montoya; and his many grandchildren whom he adored and were his most prized possessions. James is also survived by: his siblings, Bill, Teresa, Richie and Angie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for James will be conducted Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at Vining Funeral Home’s “Chapel of the Valley.”
