Jack Allen Gritton, 78, of Page, AZ, passed away March 2, 2017 at UMC in Tucson, AZ, while visiting his family. He was born February 23, 1939 in Oklahoma City, OK to Elmer Henery & Mary Kaser Gritton.
Jack was proud to serve his country in the Navy for 20 years. After his service in the Navy, Jack moved to Page, AZ, where he opened an appliance repair shop. There, he met and married Yvette Schneider and they have been married 30 years.
He loved Lake Powell, building and fixing things, and being around his family.
He is survived by his wife, Yvette Gritton, his children; Terry (Jim) Washburn, Kevin Gritton, Julie Fitzsimmons, Tim (Angie) Gritton, Larry (Diane) Justice, Sandra Justice, Kenneth (Joni) Justice, Babette Daley, 30 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Yvette Gritton and son-in-law, Roger Daley.
A memorial service will be held on March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple View Chapel, 5291 W. Highway 70, Central, AZ 85531, with interment in the Thatcher Cemetery.
