SAFFORD — The House of Hope Sober Living Facility wants to help those truly in need.

The facility is accepting donations of coats, blankets and other cold weather and water-proof items to be given to the area’s homeless.

“We’re just trying to spread blessings this holiday season,” said Jason Baca, House of Hope manager.

Donated items can be dropped off at the House of Hope. 608 W. 1st St. in Safford, now through Dec. 23.

On Christmas Eve, residents of the sober living facility will help distribute the items to the homeless, as well as serve coffee, hot chocolate and donuts.
