Hospital Auxiliary to host Holiday Boutique at MGRMC

SAFFORD — Instead of a Christmas House this year, the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary has opted to instead  offer a boutique at the hospital as its big holiday fund-raiser.

“We’ll have our bake sale, which is worth stopping in for, for sure,” said Jackie White with the Auxiliary. “We’ll have crafts and then, in our gift shop, Evelyn Walker has bought a lot more than could possibly fit in that gift shop.”

In addition to the bake sale, the fund-raiser will feature jewelry, a quilt hand-crafted by Cindy Bryce, items for children and more. There will also be door prizes and games.

The Auxiliary Holiday Boutique in the hospital’s lobby and gift shop will take place Wednesday, Nov. 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Auxiliary celebrated 50 years this year, with volunteers in place the day MGRMC opened its doors. In those 50 years, the Auxiliary has raised more than $800,000 to purchase durable medical equipment for the hospital.
