SAFFORD — Starting Thursday, Hollywood Road near Camelot Drive will be closed while City of Safford Public Works and Utilities crews make upgrades to the roadway and other infrastructure.
The work is part of a 10-month improvement effort in the area, and the roadway is expected to be closed for several weeks.
There are no planned detours through the area, so motorists are asked to take an alternate route through Copper Canyon Subdivision on via Montierth Lane.
Local residents will have access to their homes.
