THATCHER — Hispanic Heritage month will kick-off Sept. 19 with a special event at Eastern Arizona College.
Lee Little Theater will be the site of the 10th annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month by EAC and Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation.
The event will start at 11 a.m. with a reading of the proclamation declaring Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 as Hispanic Heritage Month, followed by guest speakers and a mariachi performance.
Admission is free.
Eastern Arizona Hispanic Heritage Corporation is a nonprofit organization that raises funds for scholarships to Eastern Arizona College for students of all ethnicities.
