PERIDOT — Motorists traveling from the Gila Valley to the Phoenix metro area can expect some delays next week.
Arizona Department of Transportation announced alternating east- and westbound lane restrictions will be in place on U.S. Highway 70, just east of Peridot, for installation of a passing lane.
The lane restrictions will be in place Monday, March 16, through Friday, March 27, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
Flaggers will direct traffic and speed will be reduced to 25 miles per hour in the work zone.
