High winds and blowing dust led to the closure of I-10 yesterday afternoon from milepost 352 to milepost 373. The wind and low visibility contributed to a major crash involving multiple semis. Reports from the Cochise County Sheriff’s office indicate that one indicate that one person had to be extricated out of the truck. Four ambulances were called to the scene, but reports of injuries were not available.
I-10 reopened yesterday afternoon at approximately 2:40 pm.
