BYLAS — The Bull fire in Bylas continues to grow with no sign of containment.
The San Carlos Apache Forest Resource Program reports the Bull fire has grown to 544 acres and is at 0-percent containment.
The fire along the riverbed below White City was discovered March 29. Cause remains under investigation.
Four engines have been assigned to battle the blaze, along with two wildland fire crews, one dozer and one helicopter.
Due to heavy winds in the area, residents are advised to take precaution and avoid exposure to smoke when possible.
