SAFFORD — City of Safford announced the ground-breaking for the first business locating at the new Safford Airport Business Park will take place Tuesday.
The first shovel of dirt for Ponderosa Metal Works will be turned at noon at 4750 E. Aviation Way, across from the airport terminal.
Ponderosa Metal Works will be a 12,000-square-foot facility and the new operation is anticipated to create at least 15 new jobs. The company is a metal fabricator for commercial and industrial uses, as well as a fence and gate contractor.
