CLIFTON — Greenlee Tourism is ready for new adventures.
On Jan. 10, the Greenlee Tourism Association elected an entirely new board.
Serving as chairman will be Kindle Spears, with Brittani Wallace as vice chair, Joseph Kennedy as treasurer and Erin Spears as secretary.
First up for the new board will be an informational gathering Friday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m., at the Clifton Library to update the community on the San Francisco River Revitalization Plan.
That will be followed by the second annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration, featuring a beer garden — with green beer — food, live entertainment, vendors and more. Location, date and times have not yet been released.
The regular events will also continue:
● Clifton Merchants Market, first Saturday of each month
● Stroll the Old West Highway in Duncan, second Saturday of each month
● Chase Creek Street Fair in Clifton, third Saturday of each month
Also at the Jan. 10 meeting, outgoing chairman Phil Ronnerrud was recognized for his efforts in promoting tourism to Greenlee County.
