Greenlee reports fourth case of COVID-19

CLIFTON — Greenlee County has now recorded its fourth positive case of COVID-19.

The Greenlee County Health Department announced the new case Wednesday evening.

According to the Health Department, it’s believed the case is travel related. The person and any close contacts have been placed in quarantine.

Greenlee’s first case was discovered in late March and the second about 10 days later. Both cases were connected to the same cluster and both have fully recovered.

The third case was announced May 18. The Health Department did not specify if that case and this newest case are connected or stem from different clusters.

Graham County is currently at 25 positive cases, with one death, since the start of the pandemic.
