DUNCAN — County Fair season gets underway Thursday, with the start of the Greenlee County Fair.
Thursday features free admission, along with tortilla and salsa making contests and an ice cream social sponsored by Duncan Valley Electric Cooperative.
Friday will feature dummy roping and stick horse stampede, a watermelon-eating contest and the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo.
Saturday will see a talent show, cupcake wars, a cornhole tournament, frozen T-shirt and bubblegum bubble blowing competitions and more.
Sunday begins with cowboy church leading into team roping before gates close at 3 p.m. Admission is free on Sunday.
