Gila Valley Film Festival tickets on sale now

SAFFORD — With 37 short and feature films, from 14 different countries, everyone is sure to find something they like at the inaugural Gila Valley Film Festival.

Organizers announced that tickets are now on sale for the festival, April 22-23, at the historic Safford Theatre.

Single-day tickets are $12 each, and are good for the entire day’s slate of films. Two-day tickets are $18.

On Friday, showings start at 2 p.m. with the documentary short films; followed by the narrative short films; the feature-length documentary, “One Last Drop,”; and two feature-length narrative films, “8000 Ft Up” and “You and Him and Me.”

On Saturday, showings start at 10 a.m. with the student documentary short films; followed by the student narrative short films; two feature-length documentary films, “Mango House” and “Horse Heroes;” and the final feature-length narrative film, “Remember to Forget.”

At 6 p.m. Saturday, film festival awards will be presented.
