SAFFORD — To Kill a Mocking Peep? Ordinary Peeple? War and Peeps?

The possibilities are endless in this month’s Teen Program at the Safford City-Graham County Library, which involves creating dioramas using marshmallow Peeps.

“We’re going to recreate our favorite scene from a book or movie, and just have fun with Peeps,” said Mysti Gilbert, library tech who oversees the Teen Program. “We’ve got a whole lot of Peeps and we’re ready to have a whole lot of fun with them.”

The Peep Diorama Program for teens will take place Wednesday, April 20, starting at 3:30 p.m.

There’s more fun at the library for teens in May, with a murder mystery program.

“We’re able to do all these amazing programs through the Friends of the Library funded through the United Way (of Graham and Greenlee Counties),” Gilbert said. “We’re just super grateful we’re able to have these teenagers come and enjoy themselves in our library, get to know our library staff, get to know our library, and really be able to express themselves and be a safe space for that.”
