The Gila Idol 2020 competition was put on hold last year when the COVID-19 pandemic took hold and shut down the nation. All that was left was the final competition. Now, nearly a year later, Double R Communications is concluding last year’s competition tomorrow night at the David M. Player Center for the Arts.
The finale competition normally feature 20 finalists who compete for the $1,000 prize. This year, however, only 12 of last year finalists are available for the competition. Here’s the lineup in performance order:

Because of COVID-19, only the contestants and two guests will be allowed at the performance. The performance will be streamed live via Zoom for everybody else to view. The livestream will begin Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Here’s the link for the livestream:

Ten finalists for the 2020 final will be selected to move on the 2021 competition, which will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
The first preliminary for the 2021 competition will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 6:30. Video for the preliminary competition will available the following day at 6:30 pm. Here’s the lineup for the first 2021 preliminary:
