Double R Communications wrapped up the 2020 Gila Idol season last night with 12 of the original 20 contestants that qualified for the final competition. Because of the pandemic, it took nearly a year to complete the season. The event was live-streamed on Zoom and Facebook Live in order to limit the number of people at the event. Only the contestants and two guests were allowed in the David M. Player Center for the Arts.
The contestants were:

4. Paityn Mattice
5. Sara Skinner
6. Harley Lofgreen
7. Brianna Richins
8. Madeline Kamae
9. Traci Chamberlain
10. Frank Adams
11. Hannah Bradley
12. Rachel Clark
All 12 contestants will move on to the 2021 finale, which is scheduled for March 24, 2021. It has not yet been determined whether a live audience will be possible at that date.
The first preliminary competition for Gila Idol 2021 takes place on Monday, February 22, 2021. Winners of the preliminary will not be announced until the video of the event is released 24 hours later. Video for the event will be posted on GilaValleyCentral.net on Tuesday, February 23 at 6:30 PM.
