MORENCI — Freeport-McMoRan is celebrating this year’s Earth Day with a pair of events.
On Saturday, April 13, Freeport will conduct a native plant giveaway in Duncan’s Centennial Park, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On Thursday, April 18, from 2-6 p.m.; and Friday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Freeport will conduct another native plant giveaway at the Spring Fling in front of the Morenci Library.
The Spring Fling will also feature food trucks, a community yard sale and vendors.
There’s no charge to participate in the Spring Fling. Register by calling 928-865-6598 or in-person at the Community Center front desk.
