SAFFORD —Gila Valley Samaritan Home wants to help the community get ready for the cold and flu season.
Samaritan Home will team with the Graham County Health Department for free flu shots at the Samaritan Home, 114 W. 5th St. in Safford, on Monday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
On Saturday, Nov. 8, Samaritan Home will host a one-day Health Clinic, from 10 a.m. to noon, offering free blood pressure checks and free blood sugar level checks.
In addition, those who attend will get information about local health resources.
Gila Valley Samaritan Home serves the area’s unhoused population; however, the health services offered both days are free to everyone.
