SAFFORD — Safford Regional Airport and the City of Safford are excited to welcome the public to the airport Nov. 1 for the second annual Safford Airshow, presented by Rutledge Airborne.
This year’s airshow features more than 20 aircraft, from historic warbirds like the P-51 Mustang and FM-2 Wildcat to modern aerobatic aircraft like the Pitts S-1 and Microjet, and even historic helicopters.
Attendees can expect to see aerobatic performances, formation flights, aerial wildfire fighting demonstrations and more.
Attendees can also purchase rides on a historic C-45 Expeditor from the Commemorative Air Force, or a UH-1 Huey or AH-1 Cobra from the Army Aviation Heritage Foundation.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and the show starts at noon.
