SAFFORD — With the number of COVID-19 cases in the Gila Valley remaining high, testing is a crucial component in the fight to slow the spread.
To give more people the opportunity to get tested, Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center announced Monday expansion of service hours of free drive-up testing at the hospital’s Copper Mountain Clinic.
Effective immediately, free drive-up testing will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Results are returned in 24 hours.
The testing is free thanks to a partnership between MGRMC and United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties.
