The first of seven Gila Idol preliminaries begins tonight at 6:30 pm at the Graham County Chamber of Commerce. At each preliminary, three finalists, several callbacks and an alternate are selected. The finalists will compete in the final competition, which will be held on March 28, 2024 at the David M Player Center for the Arts. The callbacks will compete again on March 14, 2024 for the final spot in the final competition. The alternate will compete by popular vote, which take place online during the week of March 18, 2024.
The winner of the competition will receive a check for $2,000 and a Gila Idol Trophy from Trophies ‘N Tees.
