There are nine alternates from whom the public may choose; one selected at each of the six preliminaries and three from call-back night. They are:

● Kienna Van Shaar (Double R Grill)

● Andelisia Hernandez (The Venue)

● Reid Cox (Stadium Club)

● Sara Skinner (Morenci Club)

● Tanner Johnson (OneAZ Credit Union)

● Chaleese Webb (Safford Bowl)

● Abigail Thomas (Graham County Chamber of Commerce)

● Tyler Miller (Graham County Chamber of Commerce)

● Marlee Redford (Graham County Chamber of Commerce)

“I joke around all the time about it being a popularity contest right now, but it kind of is,” said Reed Richins, Double R Communications owner, “because you can use your social media presence to get votes. You can use your friends and family. (If) you’ve got a gigantic family, just get them all to vote.”

The top vote-getter by midnight Monday, March 21, will take the 20th and final spot in the finals. That person will be called by Richins live on Kat Kountry 94.5 FM Monday, after 8 a.m., to learn his or her fate.
