WILLCOX — Valley Telecom was recently recognized by Gov. Doug Ducey.

On March 7, Ducey issued a State of Arizona Commendation to Valley Telephone Cooperative for 60 years of service in the rural portions of the state.

Valley Telecom serves Graham, Greenlee and Cochise counties.

“Arizonans have seen an increased dependency on services that enable them to keep connected, keep learning and keep doing business in the modern world — contributing to Arizona’s prosperity,” the commendation reads.

“Valley Telephone Cooperative continues to provide essential telecommunications services to Arizona’s rural areas, allowing them to participate in the global economy. The organization has withstood the test of time, navigating ever-changing technologies to provide the most advanced communication technologies to Arizonans.”

Valley Telecom is continuing to expand its services in the Thatcher area and continues to sign up households seeking high-speed internet. Go to Fiber – Valley Telecom Group – VTC to learn more.
