Fair Parade winners announced

GRAHAM COUNTY — The judges have released their tallies and the top entries in the Graham Fair Parade have been announced.

Best of Show

Arizona Arts Academy’s Junior Class entry in the 2025 Graham County Fair Parade, “Dancing Threough the Decades,” was named Best of Show.

Best Motor Vehicle entry

The Safford Lions Club’s entry was named Best Motor Vehicle entry in the parade.

Best Non-school float

Graham County Historical Society entered a float with a bridge built out of logs and other pioneer artifacts, a replica of an 1875 Fort Apache bridge. That earned the Historical Society the Best Non-school entry.

Senior Class float

Arizona Arts Academy’s senior class entered the float “Really Old Lady,” showing a student dressed as a 99-year-old reading to young students. Earning the class the Senior Class float win.

Freshman Class float

“Parades of the Past” earned Arizona Arts Academy its third Graham County Fair Parade win, for Best Freshman float.

Elementary School float

Triumphant Learning Center’s float with flag football players and cheer team members, was named Best Elementary School entry.

Marching Unit entry

The Pima High School Roughrider Marching Band was named Best Marching Unit at the Graham County Fair Parade.
