Facebook 101 for business

Thatcher – Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center is presenting a seminar on Facebook for business. The event is Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the EAC Wayne M. McGrath High Tech Center, Room 116. The cost is $20.00 per person.

The workshop will walk participants though the basics of Facebook, including how to customize, manage and grow your business page. Keven Peck, Director of the EAC Small Business Development Center will present:

  • How to set up and manager a free Facebook page for your business.
  • How to customize your Facebook page to optimize reach to your customers.
  • How to create posts that bring traffic to your page, including what to post, how to schedule a post and how often you should create new content.
  • How to grow your business page by building your audience, asking for reviews and creating ads.

Facebook has become an integral part of our lives in the age of technology and in the marketing of businesses. Every business needs to evaluate and strongly consider how to market their business with that in mind. Just as newspaper, radio and TV play an important role in those marketing efforts, Facebook is key to your online business presence and a way for you to connect with customers in a more social and engaging way.
