Eastern Arizona College will host its annual Veterans Day event to honor those who have served or are currently serving in the military on Thursday, November 12 at 11 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Associated Students of Eastern Arizona College. The event is being held the day after Veterans Day to not compete with other area events, and to encourage more student and employee participation.
The community is welcome to join EAC students, faculty and staff for the event which will take place on the west side of EAC’s Student Services near the flagpole. EAC is located at 615 N Stadium Avenue in Thatcher.
Remarks will be given by Bethany Lamb, a current EAC student and veteran. Arizona Veterans Advisory Commission member, Chris Gibbs, will be in attendance. The EAC Marching Band will perform patriotic music.
