SAFFORD — Motorists to the north of the Gila River should plan for extra travel time next week.
The City of Safford announced a portion of East Airport Road will be closed while crews perform water system upgrades. The closure will detour traffic onto East Aviation Way.
The road closure will take place Monday, April 24, through Thursday, April 27.
