THATCHER, Ariz. — Eastern Arizona College’s String Orchestra presents the 22nd Annual Starlight Strings Concert, Pops Specials, Wednesday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m., in the Activities Center – Lee Little Theatre. Admission is free.
This year’s program will feature songs such as, “Moor River” by Henry Mancini, “Lullaby” by George Gershwin, “Body and Soul” by John Green, and many more.
“I love this concert because it is always a challenge,” said Franklin Alvarez, EAC orchestra director and conductor for the concert. “It’s our first official presentation of the school year and after only six weeks practicing together as a group, I’m nervous until the curtain goes up!”
The concert is scheduled for Wednesday, October 3, at 7:30 p.m., in the Activities Center – Lee Little Theatre. Admission is free.
