EAC seeks public feedback to help set future course

By Kris McBride and Shannon Seballos

THATCHER, Ariz. — Eastern Arizona College values community engagement and seeks feedback to help set the College’s future course. The public is encouraged to visit www.eac.edu/strategy to review and rank 17 initiatives that have been identified as part of a current strategic planning process. This link will be active through Friday, June 14, and asks respondents to rank each initiative on a scale of one through five, with five being a high priority.

EAC’s strategic planning process included a comprehensive internal and external evaluation to identify strengths, opportunities, and aspirations. The evaluation included reviews of institutional and external data and focus groups with key stakeholders. EAC’s Strategic Plan Steering Team, comprised of the EAC District Executive Team, the Governing Board chair, faculty president, and other administrators, used the evaluation to identify the top 17 initiatives for the strategic plan. The strategic planning process will be completed by the end of 2019.

For more information, the public is encouraged to contact Kris McBride, EAC director of marketing and public relations, at (928) 428-8230.
