THATCHER — Eastern Arizona College’s Phi Beta Lambda chapter attended the Fall Leadership Conference at Central Arizona College (Superstition Campus) earlier this month in Apache Junction. Each of the six members competed in two or more events, and everyone placed in the top three in at least one of their events.

Sabrina Molina placed second in Business Decision Making; Braxton Barney placed third in Sports Management and first in Impromptu Speaking; Talena Campbell placed third in Business Communications, second in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, and third in the Resume/Cover Letter Contest; Angelica Yslas placed first in Business Communications; Ramon Flores placed second in Computer Concepts; and Mariah Hatch placed third in Economic Analysis and Decision Making.

“This is a great group of students who placed really well at this conference,” said Dr. Tammy Campbell, EAC Business professor, and PBL chapter advisor. “We’re very proud of them.”
