GRAHAM COUNTY — Graham County Animal Control announced Wednesday that drive-through rabies vaccine clinics will take place for household pets and large animals.
The clinics are in partnership with Desert Cross Veterinary Clinic, and will take place in both Graham and Greenlee counties.
In Greenlee, the clinics will take place at four locations Saturday, April 26:
- 7-9 a.m. at Greenlee County Fairgrounds in Duncan
- 9:30-10:30 a.m. at York Park
- 11 a.m. to noon at Loma Linda Park
- 1-4 p.m. in the Morenci Basha’s parking lot
The clinics in Graham County will also take place at four locations, on Saturday, May 3:
- 7-8 a.m. at Fort Thomas High School
- 9-11 a.m. at the Pima Swimming Pool
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at H&S Feed in Thatcher
- 2-4:30 p.m. at the Graham County Fairgrounds
Rabies shots are $20 per animal and all animals must remain in the vehicle or trailer.
On April 3, the Graham County Health Department reported it has seen an increase in the number of rabies cases in the Gila Valley and advised all pet owners to be up-to-date on their pets’ rabies vaccines.
